| Dick & Casey’s was established in July of 1988 in order to provide sport fishermen a place to have their own fish custom canned or smoked. We added a fresh fish counter in the latter part of l988. The demand for high quality canned fish quickly grew. We began canning for retail early in 1989, becoming a micro-cannery. Dick Pendleton began developing the recipes for our spices in 1989. By 1994 we had four recipes to add to our cans of Albacore and Salmon. We still have the largest selection of seasoned products.
We do our canning the old fashioned way. Each fish is filleted and trimmed in the cannery. We then pack every can by hand to ensure the highest quality. We don’t add any artificial flavors, colors, oil or water. We process the fish in their own natural juices. Our spices are added once the can is ready to be cooked. All of our products are can be ordered by snail mail, telephone, through our website and at our retail store. If you find yourselves at the Port of Brookings-Harbor, please stop by and said hi! |

We retain the highest standard for the fish we buy. We buy only the freshest and highest quality of fish from experienced local fishermen who also believe in selling a quality product. Our Albacore and Salmon are “hook and line caught” off the Oregon and Alaskan coastlines, insuring it is always dolphin safe. We buy the "school fish", 12 to 26 pounds, which do not have the extremely high levels of mercury that the larger fish have.
